if i got the thinner one that is supposed to raise my cr to 9.8:1 any idea on what the performance results would be? and how hard do u think it would be to change it?

2-3 hps alot imo. it only costs like $35 so that would b about 1 hp per $20. u have any idea how hard it would be to put on?

you have to remove the head to get the head gasket off and put the other one on....so...you would have to remove the timing belt, remove all wires connected to anything that is on the head, disconnect the exhaust, and i think you have to take the cams out to get to the head bolts...then it should pull off.

damn. sounds like alot of work for little gains. maybe when/if i ever do cams ill try it. but ive got other stuff i wanna do b4 then.

id say just wait until you HAVE to take the head off to replace the gasket....and just use the thinner gasket.
